Charlie the Magical Clown from Portsmouth in Hampshire is one of the most experienced and sought after childrens entertainers on the party circuit today. Charlie served his apprenticeship at Butlins holiday centre in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. where he started as an entertainer performing to hundreds of children every night, where he worked his way up to running the whole of the children’s entertainment. Since leaving Butlins Charlie has used the vast knowledge and experience he gained over those years to great success, and has entertained many thousands of children at hundreds of parties and events. He has performed on Television several times, appeared at many prestigious venues for children of many well-known celebrities, and was even chosen to perform in front of the Royal Children on more than one occasion.

Charlie is also a very well respected award winning professional magician, so not only does he perform the hilarious routines that you’d expect from a clown, such as juggling, plate spinning, balloon modelling, holding a flower that droops when he’s not looking, bendy magic wands, funny gags and silly antics, but he also blends this with some very clever magic such as making dozens of bananas appear from nowhere, making things disappear from his bare hands right before the children’s eyes with his sleeves rolled up, creating the illusion of “real magic” that the children (and adults) will be talking about for many years to come. Leaving them spellbound and giving them wonderful memories of their very special, magical day.

Charlie’s shows (whether it’s the 45 minute comedy magic show or the full 2 hour stress free package with music and games) are full of fun, audience participation, laughter, amazement and your child will be made to be the “Star of the show” from the offset.
